I don't have system restore enabled, and never will. It's a fundamentally broken feature, that only takes unnecessary space.

The problem is, DriversCloud refused to let me download the new drivers unless I enable it. So, how can I disable this part?

I just want to download the updated drivers.

Hello, you can always download individual drivers from the drivers page. Although this will probably no longer be possible.
The driver restoration system is a great safety feature. I used to get a lot of "users" installing buggy drivers and then complaining on my site. If there's one thing I won't disable, it's this option.
Installing drivers is potentially dangerous. In some cases (rare but they do exist), the driver can be buggy and cause bsods or prevent restarting.
If I did what you recommend, I'd have nothing but trouble.

Individual download is a pain. Especially when there are many updates.

I get what you're saying, and not I'm not asking you to remove it. Make it an option, and it's enabled by default. That way, advanced users, like me, can just disable it and move on.

Also, I don't want the drivers to be installed automatically. What I need, is simply batch download, and I can install them manually. That would be the most useful scenario.

Hello,
if I put an option, I know what would happen. People would override the warning. And if it crashed they'd come to complain. That's what happened when I let people choose.
I invite you to activate the restore system on your Windows. It's still a very good security in the event of a bad Windows patch or driver update.

You can't protect people from themselves...

I give up.
